Cheryl Hoy is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in administrative and event management roles. Currently serving as the Executive Assistant to the City Manager for the City of Poway since December 2020, Cheryl previously held multiple positions at the City of San Diego from December 2010 to December 2020, including Executive Assistant to the Mayor, Assistant to the Chief of Staff, and Director of Office Administration for Councilmember Lorie Zapf, Sixth District. Earlier in their career, Cheryl worked as an Event Manager at SHA Events from 2002 to 2007, specializing in fundraising, event management, marketing, and special event planning. Cheryl holds a degree from San Diego State University.
