Marie Sanders, MBA, serves as a Senior Management Analyst for the City of Poway since September 2017, where responsibilities include managing departmental budget and finance activities and administering the Poway Housing Authority Affordable Housing Program and the City’s CDBG program. Prior experience includes roles as Administrative Services Manager for Thurston County Government, overseeing recruitment, records management, and human resources, as well as Program Manager at Pioneer Human Services, focusing on program management, staff supervision, and contract administration. Earlier work as Customer Service Lead at Door to Door Storage, Inc. involved auditing sales contacts and managing customer shipments. Marie Sanders holds an MBA in Management and Strategy from Western Governors University, a BS in Business Administration from Kaplan University, and two Associate degrees from Pierce College at Fort Steilacoom in Criminal Justice and General Studies.
