Melissa Kaprelian

Melissa Kaprelian is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations management, community engagement, and public service. Currently serving as the Director of Operations and Creative Director at Hospice Chaplaincy since July 2020, Melissa oversees organizational efficiency and financial management. As a City Council Member for Racine's 5th District and a 4th District County Supervisor since April 2016, Melissa actively participates in local governance and committees focusing on public safety and redistricting. Previous roles include Business Development Liaison at Kenosha Community Health Center, Uptown Business Improvement District Manager, and Environmental Educator at WATERshed, emphasizing community education and health service access. Melissa holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and has completed an Associate's degree and a Gerontology Certificate at Gateway Technical College.
