Micah Runner

Micah Runner is an experienced city manager currently serving as City Manager for the City of Rancho Cordova since March 2019, after previously holding the position of Deputy City Manager. With a strong background in economic development, Micah served as Economic Development Director for the City of Stockton from August 2013 to March 2019, and as Economic Development Manager for the City of Rancho Cordova from September 2007 to November 2013. Earlier career roles include Economic Development Project Manager for the City of Sacramento from 2000 to 2007, and Research Analyst for Meyers Group in 1999. Micah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from California State University-Sacramento, earned between 1997 and 1999.
