Debbie Rowell

Debbie Rowell, holding a BA in Psychology and certified as a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR), has extensive experience in human resources management. Currently serving as the HR Team Lead - Talent & Consulting for the City of Red Deer since February 2021, Debbie previously managed the human resources function for Catholic Social Services of Alberta. Prior to that, Debbie was the HR Business Partner Manager at Chemtrade Electrochem Inc., providing support across multiple unionized manufacturing plants in North America. Debbie's earlier roles included strategic HR management at Aveng Group, encompassing various functions such as change management and talent management. Debbie's educational background includes degrees and programs from institutions such as Cornell University, the British Columbia Institute of Technology, the University of Johannesburg, and the University of South Africa, specializing in psychology and human resource management.
