Alaric Bien has extensive experience in community service and human services planning, currently serving as a Senior Human Services Planner for the City of Redmond and as a Board Member for Eastside Pathways and Aegis Gardens of Newcastle. Previously, Alaric facilitated initiatives for the Eastside Refugee and Immigrant Coalition and contributed to community-building efforts at Eastside Timebank and the Alliance of Eastside Agencies. Alaric held other leadership roles such as Executive Director of the Chinese Information and Service Center and Chair of the Asian Pacific Directors Coalition. Educational background includes degrees in Clinical Psychology and Psychology with East Asian Studies from various institutions, including Boston University and the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
