Chantele Hancock

Chantele Hancock currently serves as the Director of Library Services for the City of Richland Hills, a position held since October 2016, responsible for managing the library's budget, acquisitions, educational programming, public relations, and staff development. Prior to this role, Chantele worked at the City of Hurst as a Program Coordinator/Adult Services Librarian from August 2008 to October 2016, focusing on adult and family programming as well as representing the library at community events. Earlier experience includes positions as an Assistant Librarian at Milton Public Library, where Chantele handled reference services and collection development, and as a Library Media Specialist at Rock Prairie Montessori Inc., overseeing policy and program development. Chantele's educational background includes a Master of Library Science from Texas Woman's University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art from Tarleton State University.
