Icma-Cm Jon Amundson

Jon Amundson, ICMA-CM, PMP, is an experienced city manager with a career spanning over two decades in municipal management. Currently serving as City Manager for the City of Richland since December 2008, Jon has held various leadership roles including Interim City Manager and Assistant City Manager. Prior to Richland, Jon worked as Assistant to the City Manager, Management Analyst, and Management Intern at the City of Allen from June 2004 to November 2008, and began the career as a Management Intern at the City of Lenexa from June 2003 to June 2004. Jon holds a Master of Public Administration from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Brigham Young University, along with advanced leadership training from the International City County Management Association and the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
