Michelle Haffner

Michelle Haffner currently serves as the Community Engagement Supervisor and formerly as the Teen Services Librarian for the City of Richland since March 2020, supervising staff and managing departmental budgets while leading digital programming initiatives. Prior experience includes roles at Mid-Columbia Libraries as a Customer Service Specialist and at Columbia Basin College as a Program Assistant, where Michelle demonstrated skills in data management and student services. Additional experience spans various positions in community service, administrative support, and event planning, alongside a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from San José State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Management from Brigham Young University.
