Martin Younis

Director, Facilities & Project Development at City of Richmond

Martin Younis has held various positions in their work experience. Martin started their career as a MEP Project Manager at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff in the Middle East from December 2006 to March 2010. Martin then joined the City of Richmond as a Project Coordinator from March 2012 to February 2013, and later became a Senior Project Manager from February 2013 to November 2016. In November 2016, they joined the City of Coquitlam as the Director of Facilities until June 2017. Martin then returned to the City of Richmond and served as a Senior Project Manager from July 2017 to November 2019, followed by a role as Manager, Capital Buildings Project Development from November 2019 to April 2023. Currently, they are working as the Director of Facilities & Project Development at the City of Richmond since April 2023. Additionally, they worked as a Lecturer at CHIMO Crisis Services from August 2011 to present.

Martin Younis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Education from the University of Technology - Iraq between 1988 and 1992. Martin subsequently pursued a Master of Engineering Management degree with a focus on Engineering and Project Management at the University of Wollongong in Dubai from 2008 to 2010.
