Mark Niskanen

Mark Niskanen is a seasoned planning professional with extensive experience in municipal planning and land use. Currently serving as a Contract Planner for the City of Hughson and the City of Riverbank since November 2022, Mark Niskanen also holds the position of City Planner for the City of Oakdale and Planning Manager for the City of Waterford, both since 2014 and 2013, respectively. Additionally, Mark Niskanen contributes to the City of Modesto as a Board Member on the Board of Zoning Adjustment since August 2021. As Vice President of J.B. Anderson Land Use Planning since October 2002, Mark Niskanen combines practical expertise with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from San Diego State University.
