Victor T. Saunders is a seasoned professional in youth intervention and violence prevention, currently serving as an Advisor to Mayor Malik Evans on Violence Prevention Programs for the City of Rochester since January 2022. With extensive experience as Director at VTS Specialists: Youth Intervention Strategies since June 2014, and previously in various roles including Lead Social Emotional Specialist at The Center for Youth Services, Inc., Saunders has developed innovative programs aimed at reducing youth violence and improving emotional support for at-risk youth. Previous positions include Supervisor of Youth Intervention Specialists for the City of Rochester and Senior Youth Intervention Specialist for the Pathways to Peace Youth Initiative, where a focus was placed on outreach and creating alternatives for vulnerable youth.
