Mark Bonne

Mark Bonne currently serves as the 14th Ward Alderman for the City of Rockford, Illinois since May 2021. With extensive experience in public service and communication, Bonne has been the Chief of Staff for Illinois State Senator Steve Stadelman since January 2013. Previous roles include Campaign Manager for Steve Stadelman for State Senate and Chief Communications Officer for Rockford Public Schools. Bonne's early career in journalism involved positions at Rockford Register Star and various other media outlets. Educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Northern Illinois University and studies at Rock Valley College and McHenry County College.
