William Rose currently serves as the NIU Illinois CTE Project Educator at Northern Illinois University since June 2022, and has been a 9th Ward Alderman on the Development and Housing Committee for the City of Rockford since May 2017. Previously, William Rose worked in various educational roles at Rockford Public Schools from August 2012 to November 2022, including positions as a Teacher, Academy Leader for the Business Academy, and CTE Director at Rockford East High School. Responsibilities included leading teams of teachers in Work-Based Learning initiatives, developing curricula, and fostering community collaboration. William Rose began the career as a Social Sciences Teacher at Hononegah Community High School from August 2009 to June 2012. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Reading Teacher Education from Northern Illinois University, a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from National Louis University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science Teacher Education from Rockford University.
