Darren Armstrong

Darren Armstrong has extensive experience in leisure facility operations, currently serving as Coordinator of Leisure Facilities Operations at the City of Rockingham since July 2018, after previously holding the position of Assistant Coordinator. Prior to this, Darren worked at the City of Kwinana as Centre Manager and at YMCA Perth as Area Manager in Port Hedland, overseeing operations at Gratwick Aquatic Centre and South Hedland Aquatic Centre. Additional experience includes serving as Aquatic Team Leader at Aqua Jetty in Warnbro, WA, and as Duty Manager at St Neots Leisure Centre in the UK, where responsibilities encompassed both aquatic and dry recreation management. Early career roles at Marriott Hotels involved various positions in leisure management and gym instruction.
