Jerod Potts

Jerod Potts currently serves as the Economic Development Director for the City of Sachse, Texas, a position held since June 2021, after progressing through roles including Economic Development Manager and Assistant to the City Manager - Economic Development. Prior experience includes several positions at the City of Southlake, Texas, from June 2013 to June 2021, culminating as the Policy & Strategic Initiative Principal Planner, along with earlier roles such as Assistant to the Director of Planning & Development Services and Planner I. Jerod Potts holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma (2022-2024) and has also studied at the University of North Texas (2013-2014), along with obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and English from Oklahoma State University (2008-2012).
