Dr. Nkiruka Catherine Ohaegbu

Dr. Nkiruka Catherine Ohaegbu is a distinguished professional currently serving as an Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy Commissioner for the City of Sacramento since June 2024, while also holding positions as a Leadership Council Member for We Prosper Together and Principal Owner of Adaptive Strategies Consulting LLC. Elected as the Assembly District Delegate for District 6 with the California Democratic Party, Dr. Ohaegbu contributes to the Nehemiah Emerging Leaders Program as a Class XI Senior Fellow. Past experience includes serving as Program Director at Capitol Impact, and roles in government relations at Pacific Gas and Electric Company and the U.S. Small Business Administration, among others. Dr. Ohaegbu holds a Doctor of Business Administration from Georgia State University, an MBA from California State University-Sacramento, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Wayne State University.
