Lance Henrie has a diverse work experience in engineering and public works. Lance started their career as a Civil Engineer/Project Manager at Bulloch Brothers Engineering, Inc in 2003 and worked there until 2010. From 2010 to 2013, they served as a Senior Engineer at the City and Borough of Sitka Alaska. Lance then joined the City of Safford in 2013 and held multiple roles, including Staff Engineer, Assistant Public Works Director/City Engineer, Public Works Director/Assistant City Engineer, and currently serves as the Public Works Director/City Engineer.
Lance Henrie attended Utah State University from 1994 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering.

Nestled in the central part Southeastern Arizona’s Gila Valley, the City of Safford is a thriving rural Arizona City. With a population just over ten thousand, it is the largest municipality in Graham County. Incorporated as a town in 1901 and becoming a city in 1955, Safford has become the major hub for Southeastern Arizona. The City of Safford boasts a historic downtown that is the main entertainment district in the area. The City of Safford as an organization has multiple different departments and over 150 employees to staff all the different positions within these departments. The city also provides all utilities for its residents and other residents in surrounding areas.
