Adriana Rocha Garcia

Adriana Rocha Garcia, Ph.D., serves as a City Councilwoman for the City of San Antonio since June 2019 and is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Our Lady of the Lake University since August 2008. Previous roles include Director of Public Relations for Southwest ISD, Special Projects Manager/Executive Recruiter for the City of San Antonio, and Vice President of Communications for the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Adriana has also worked as a Marketing Manager for SAMMinistries Furniture For A Cause and as Chief News and Information Officer at the University of the Incarnate Word®. Adriana holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin and both a Bachelor and Master's degree in Communication Arts from the University of the Incarnate Word.
