Shanon Miller

Historic Preservation Officer at City of San Antonio

Shanon Miller currently serves as the Historic Preservation Officer for the City of San Antonio since November 2008 and has been a Founding Board Member for the Power of Preservation Foundation since 2012. Additionally, Shanon Miller holds the position of Board Chair for Preservation Action since 2004. Previous roles include Interim Planning Director and Historic Preservation Officer for the City of Franklin, Tennessee, from September 2003 to November 2008, as well as serving as the Historic Preservation Officer for the City of Fort Worth from September 2000 to September 2003. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Historic Preservation from Goucher College (2002-2005), a Master's in Public Service and Administration from Texas A&M University (1998-2000), and a Bachelor of Arts in History, Economics, and Art History from Western Kentucky University (1993-1997).
