Gil Navarrete

Gil Navarrete is an experienced professional with a strong background in urban planning, geographic information systems, and community outreach. Currently serving as a Grad Student Intern for the City of San José, Navarrete has successfully expanded the bike parking network, implementing over 500 bike racks and creating multiple maps for city council projects using ArcGIS Pro. Previous roles include supervisory and analytical positions at Shiba Ramen and Rails-To-Trails Conservancy, where Navarrete optimized operations and developed comprehensive mapping solutions. With an academic foundation in City/Urban Planning from San Jose State University and a commitment to community development, Navarrete has consistently utilized data management and communication skills to drive efficiency and enhance the quality of various initiatives.
