Kapil Verma

Kapil Verma, PE, is an accomplished engineering professional with significant experience in public works and environmental engineering. Currently serving as Deputy Director and Principal Engineer for the City of San José since August 2014, Kapil has previously held the position of Senior Environmental Engineer at the City of Sunnyvale Environmental Services Department for a brief tenure in 2013. Kapil's career began at Kennedy/Jenks Consultants, where employment spanned from June 2000 to March 2013 as an Associate Engineer. Kapil holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from San Diego State University, earned between 1997 and 2002.
