Michelle Nguyen

Michelle Nguyen currently serves as a Library Page for the City of San José since June 2023. Previously, Nguyen worked as a Resilience Corps Associate at the San Jose Public Library Foundation from June 2022 to December 2023, supporting holistic development for over 15 K-12 students and collaborating on classroom management. Nguyen was also a Peer Mentor at San Jose State University from July 2021 to July 2022, creating outreach projects and mentoring first-year students, and assisted in recruiting prospective students. In earlier roles, Nguyen was a Tutor at Kumon North America, Inc. and a Peer Mentor for the Silicon Valley Education Foundation, where responsibilities included providing math instruction and facilitating college readiness activities. Nguyen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Language and Literature from San José State University.
