Erica Long

Erica Long currently serves as the Capital Projects Manager for the City of San Luis Obispo since September 2022. Prior to this role, Erica held various positions at the California Department of Transportation from January 2015 to September 2022, including Associate Transportation Planner focused on financial programming, where responsibilities included coordination of Senate Bill 1 programs and analyzing project delivery schedules. Earlier experience includes roles as Workforce Planning Analyst at the Employment Development Department, where Erica conducted HR analytics, and as a Tax Compliance Representative providing advisory services on tax laws. Erica's career began at the California Department of Public Health as an Assistant to the Canned Food Program Analyst. Erica holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from California State University-Sacramento and is a member of Delta Sigma Pi.
