April Miller

April Miller is an accomplished civil engineer with extensive experience in public works and project management. Since February 2020, April has served as the Director of Public Works for the City of San Rafael, after holding positions as Assistant Public Works Director and City Engineer, as well as Senior Civil Engineer. April has also been a delegate on the Board of Directors for the APWA Northern California since December 2014 and previously served on the APWA National Young Professionals Committee, culminating in a role as Committee Chair in 2020. Prior to these roles, April was a Senior Project Manager at BKF Engineers from November 2003 to February 2020 and gained early experience as an intern in the Streets & Highways Division of the City and County of San Francisco. April holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Davis, obtained between 1999 and 2003.
