Katherine Hagemann

Katherine Hagemann, AICP, serves as the Climate Adaptation and Resilience Planner for the City of San Rafael since September 2022. Previously, as the Resilience Program Manager for Adaptation at Miami-Dade County from June 2015 to August 2022, Katherine led initiatives addressing sea level rise in capital planning and infrastructure vulnerability assessments. Katherine's experience also includes roles as a Climate Adaptation Associate at the Connecticut Institute for Resilience and Climate Adaptation, Lab Manager for the Yale Urban Ecology and Design Lab during the Rebuild by Design competition, and Systems, Strategy, & Sustainability Coordinator for Yale's Office of Sustainability. Katherine's educational background includes a Master of Environmental Science from Yale School of the Environment and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Yale University.
