Sylvia Vazquez

Sylvia Vazquez has over 19 years of progressive experience in public service, currently serving as Deputy City Manager for the City of Santa Ana since October 2004. This role complements previous positions held within the city, including Economic Development Specialist III, Economic Development Specialist II, Community Development Analyst, Workforce Specialist III, Workforce Specialist II, Economic Development Aide, and Sr. Administrative Intern. Additionally, from September 2017 to April 2020, Sylvia Vazquez was an instructor in Career Technical Education at Rancho Santiago Community College District, where earlier experience also included a role as an Instructional Assistant from January 1999 to December 2003. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton, and an Associate of Arts degree from Santa Ana College.
