Joelle Simmons

Joelle Simmons possesses a robust background in aquatic management and instruction, demonstrated through various roles in reputable organizations. Currently serving as a Lifeguard Instructor Trainer and Water Safety Instructor Trainer at the American Red Cross since September 2017, Joelle also holds the position of Aquatics Program Manager with the City of Santa Monica since April 2021. Previous experience includes serving as Aquatics Supervisor IV and Program Coordinator at the City of Dallas from March 2017 to April 2021, as well as Aquatics Supervisor, Recreation Assistant, and Recreation Leader Specialist at the City of Long Beach from June 2007 to February 2017. Joelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from California State University-Dominguez Hills and an Associate of Arts from Orange Coast College, with ongoing studies at UC Santa Barbara.
