Michael Coyne

Michael Coyne, AICP, currently serves as Principal Planner for the City of Santee since March 2015, with previous experience as Associate Planner for the City of Coachella and Assistant Planner for the City of El Centro. Responsibilities have included processing various planning approvals and managing consultant work on complex projects. Earlier roles included Planner II positions with the County of Imperial and County of Tulare. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science and Public Policy as well as a Master of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning, both from Harvard University and UCLA, respectively, and possesses a Foreign Language Citation in Spanish from Harvard University.
