Most recently, Clae joined the City of Saskatoon again as the Chief Financial Officer. In this position, they provide strategic financial leadership across the organization and oversees the City's long-term financial plans. Clae supports professional and technical staff in the provision and facilitation of corporate financial services, ensuring corporate compliance to key financial principles.

Clae Hack, CPA, CA obtained their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan in 2010. Clae then pursued a Masters of Professional Accounting degree in Accounting from the same university, completing their studies in 2012. During the same period, from 2010 to 2012, Clae also attended the CA School of Business and received a Chartered Accountant certification. In April 2013, they successfully obtained the Chartered Accountant certification.
