Chelsey Mack has extensive work experience in various HR roles. Chelsey is currently a Director of HR Shared Services at the City of Saskatoon, where they oversee HR operations. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Workforce Strategy Consultant, supporting the City's Workforce Strategy Project. Chelsey also served as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner, where they focused on training, process improvements, and promoting diversity and inclusion in hiring practices.
Chelsey has experience in election operations as well, having worked as an Assistant Returning Officer / Operations Section Chief for the 2020 civic election at the City of Saskatoon. In this role, they played a vital part in executing a safe and transparent election, building partnerships, and recruiting election officials.
Before joining the City of Saskatoon, Chelsey worked as an HR Business Partner and Manager in the HR department, where they led executive level recruitment and supervised a team. Chelsey also gained experience in labour relations as a Labour Relations Consultant at the City of Saskatoon.
Additionally, Chelsey has worked in the HR department of the Saskatoon Police Service as a Human Resource Consultant, where they supported performance evaluations, recruitment processes, and presented reports on morale and engagement.
Early in their career, Chelsey held positions as a Human Resources Assistant at PEPSI BOTTLING GROUP and as a Labour Relations Assistant at the City of Lethbridge.
Chelsey Mack holds a Master of Industrial Relations from Queen's University with a focus on Labour Relations. Chelsey also obtained a Bachelor of Management from The University of Lethbridge, specializing in Human Resources and Labour Relations. Chelsey has several additional certifications, including Using a Trauma Informed Approach from the Canadian Police Knowledge Network in April 2021, Incident Command System Level 200 from the City of Saskatoon in April 2019, Incident Command System Level 100 from Incident Command System Canada in February 2019, Certified DiSC Workplace Facilitator from Everything DiSC: A Wiley Brand in May 2016, and Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) from CPHR Canada in April 2013. Chelsey's education and certifications demonstrate a strong background in labour relations, human resources, and organizational management.
