Steven Prater is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in project management and systems coordination. Currently serving as Revenue Systems Coordinator for the City of Savannah since December 2020, Steven leads new program development, user training, and supports open records requests for utility billing and business tax modules. Prior roles include Information Systems Specialist Sr. at the Lfucg Division of Police, where Steven supported AS400 systems and managed data preparation for a new record management system, and extensive experience at Ashland, including IT Project Manager for SAP HCM and EH&S modules, overseeing global incentive plans and software integrations. Steven holds a Graduate Certificate in Public Health, Epidemiology from the University of Kentucky, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Georgia Southern University.
