Chuck van Zandt

Chuck Van Zandt is an experienced Parks Manager with a career spanning over three decades in municipal parks and recreation. Since August 2009, Chuck has served as Parks Manager for the City of Schertz. Prior to this role, Chuck held various positions at the City of San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department from August 1988 to July 2008, including Horticultural Services Superintendent and Parks Maintenance Superintendent. Chuck's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Texas, obtained between 1972 and 1979, as well as an Associate of Science in Biology from San Antonio College, completed from 1970 to 1972.
