Asma Ahmed is a seasoned professional in human services and public policy, currently serving as a Senior Planning & Development Specialist with the City of Seattle’s Human Services Department since May 2025. In this role, Asma supports the planning, implementation, and evaluation of homelessness investment strategies. Prior to this, Asma worked as a Human Services Planner for the City of Bellevue, managing contracts related to city and federal funds and focusing on diverse issues such as housing stability and behavioral health.
