J. Davis Zellner

J. Davis "Dave" Zellner, MCP, CBO, currently serves as the Chief Building Official for the City of Sedona, AZ, since July 2023. Previously, Zellner held various positions including Operations Manager at Atmosphere Architects and Building Official for the City of Apache Junction. With a background in building department consulting through CodeTrust4, extensive experience as a plan reviewer, and leadership roles in multiple municipal settings, Zellner has demonstrated expertise in building codes, permitting processes, and staff management. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Auburn University, complemented by earlier studies in pre-engineering.
