Josh Schneuker has extensive experience in economic development, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Seguin Economic Development Corporation since October 2016 and as the Director of Economic Development for the City of Seguin since September 2015. Prior roles include Interim Director of Economic Development and Assistant Director of Economic Development at the City of Seguin, and Business Development Coordinator for the City of Cibolo, where a Business Retention & Expansion program was created and a workshop program for local businesses was implemented. Additionally, Josh Schneuker worked as an Economic Development Specialist for the City of Schertz and gained initial experience as a GIS Technician-Intern at CPS Energy. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from The University of Texas at San Antonio and further studies at the University of Oklahoma College of Professional and Continuing Studies.

Seguin is a growing community 30 minutes east of San Antonio along the Guadalupe River. The City was founded in 1838 and named in honor of Col. Juan Seguin, the Paul Revere of the Texas Revolution. Seguin is recognized as having the highest manufacturing jobs per capita in the State of Texas with almost twice the national average in manufacturing employment.
