Katelyn Meyer

Katelyn Meyer has extensive experience in recreation management, currently serving as a Recreation Supervisor for the City of Shakopee, MN since June 2018. Prior to this role, Katelyn held various positions within the City of Shakopee, including Aquatic Park Manager, Water Safety Instructor, and Lifeguard from 2010 to 2018. Katelyn also served as an International Education Ambassador at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse from 2016 to 2017. Katelyn earned a Master's degree in Recreation Management from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse between 2020 and 2022, and holds a Certificate in Foundations of Supervision and Management from Normandale Community College. Katelyn completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences and Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2017, following a High School diploma from Shakopee High School in 2013.
