Kurt Irey

Treasurer at City of Sharonville

In 2017, Kurt was elected to the position of Treasurer for the City of Sharonville. The Treasurer receives and disburses funds on the City’s accounts and deals with investments for the City in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code. In addition, the Treasurer reports to City Council and serves on the Budget and Finance Committee. Prior to becoming Treasurer, Kurt served as a member of the Sharonville Board of Zoning Appeals for three years.

Kurt grew up in Cincinnati and attended St. Xavier High School. After graduating college with a degree in history, he went on to law school and practices law in both Ohio and Kentucky. Kurt and his wife have three children and have been residents of Sharonville since 2009. They are active members in St. Michael’s Parish in Sharonville where their children attend school. Their children enjoy participating in the many youth activities in Sharonville including sports such as basketball, baseball, and soccer.
