Briana Spivey

Briana Spivey is a legal professional with significant experience in child advocacy and municipal law. Currently serving as a City Prosecutor for the City of Shreveport since August 2021, Briana previously worked as a CINC Staff Attorney at Acadiana Legal Service Corporation, representing children in abuse, abandonment, and neglect cases. Earlier roles include an apprenticeship at J. Minos Simon, LTD, where Briana assisted in trial preparation for complex cases, and community assistant positions at Campus Advantage and American Campus Communities, managing client relationships and lease negotiations. Briana's background also includes community research and beautification efforts through an internship with Lafayette Transportation and Development, as well as caregiving for individuals with special needs. Briana holds a Juris Doctor degree from Southern University Law Center and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science Pre Law from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
