Scott Menzies

Scott Menzies has extensive law enforcement experience, currently serving as a Lieutenant with the City of Simpsonville since December 2017, where responsibilities include supervising one of four rotating shifts in the Patrol Division. Prior experience includes roles as Sergeant, Corporal, and Patrol Officer with the Town of Ashland, Virginia, from July 2003 to June 2016, focusing on day shift law enforcement operations and overseeing the Traffic Safety Division. Menzies also held positions as a Correctional Officer at Pamunkey Regional Jail, a Loss Prevention Officer at Jc Penny, and a Special Undercover Agent with the VA ABC Enforcement Division, where over 400 cases were managed. An early career included diverse roles in a daycare, grocery store, cinema, and video rental establishment, contributing to a well-rounded professional background.
