Alisha Hendren has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Alisha began their career as an Intern Staff Accountant at Arthur Andersen in 1999, where they documented internal controls, researched accounting standards, and assisted with client audit engagements. Alisha then worked as a Staff Accountant at Arthur Andersen from 2000 to 2001 before joining Benson & McLaughlin, P.S. as a Staff Accountant from 2001 to 2003.
In 2003, Alisha joined Intermec Technologies as a Sr. Auditor, where they worked until 2005. Alisha then transitioned to the role of Sr. Financial Analyst, first in Cost Accounting and then in FP&A at Intermec Technologies until 2007. Alisha also worked briefly as a Sr. Accountant II at Fluke Networks during this time.
From 2007 to 2011, Alisha worked as a Sr. Financial Analyst - FP&A at Cardiac Science, where they were responsible for financial reporting and analysis, forecasting revenue and expenses, and leading the annual budgeting process. Alisha also performed financial modeling for compensation plans and merger and acquisitions activities.
In 2011, Alisha joined Microsoft as a Finance Manager. Alisha held various roles within Microsoft, including Finance Manager for Microsoft Business Solutions Revenue FP&A from 2011 to 2014, Finance Manager for Dynamics Sales & Marketing Opex FP&A from 2014 to 2015, and Finance Manager for Cloud & Enterprise Marketing Opex FP&A from 2015 to 2017. In these roles, they were responsible for reporting, analysis, forecasting, and budgeting, ensuring compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Alisha then moved to Sno-Isle Libraries, where they held multiple roles. From 2017 to 2019, they served as a Financial Manager, overseeing purchasing, payroll, banking activities, and internal controls. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as the Assistant Director Of Finance, providing leadership, accounting expertise, and technical support for operations. Finally, from 2022 to 2023, they were the Finance Director, responsible for the overall financial health of the Library District and providing vision and leadership in financial reporting and integrity.
Most recently, in 2023, Alisha started working as the Finance Director for the City of Snohomish.

Alisha Hendren attended The Ohio State University from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Honors Accounting. In June 2005, they received their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Washington State Board of Accountancy.
