Francine Jacobs

Francine Jacobs is a distinguished flutist with extensive experience in orchestral performance and flute instruction. Serving as Principal Flute for the Thousand Oaks Philharmonic since September 2004, Opera Santa Barbara since October 1998, and the Chamber Orchestra of the South Bay since October 1995, Francine has showcased solo performances, including three concerti with the Chamber Orchestra of the South Bay. Additionally, Francine holds the position of Principal Flute with the Santa Barbara Symphony Orchestra since September 1981. Francine also operated the Francine Jacobs Flute Studio until 2011, providing top-quality flute instruction. Francine Jacobs earned a Master of Music in Flute Performance from the Eastman School of Music and a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance from Indiana University Bloomington.
