Tonya Wallace

Tonya Wallace has extensive work experience, with their most recent role being the Chief Financial Officer at the City of Spokane since February 2020. Prior to this role, they served as the Chief Budget Officer at Spokane County from May 2017 to February 2020. Before that, Tonya held various positions at the City of Boise, including Treasury Manager/Strategic Advisor, Financial Services Manager, Budget Manager, and Senior Budget Advisor. Tonya also has experience at U.S. Bank as a Public Finance Officer, and at CommonWealth One Federal Credit Union as an Accountant and Accountant Technician. Tonya has a strong background in financial management, budgeting, strategic planning, and project management.

Tonya Wallace attended Idaho State University from 1986 to 1987, but did not receive a degree or specialize in any field of study during that time. Later, from 1990 to 1992, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from George Mason University.
