City of St. Catharines
Mat Siscoe currently serves as the Mayor of St. Catharines since November 2022 and holds the position of St. Catharines Regional Councillor with the Niagara Region since January 2022. Prior to these roles, Siscoe was a Physics Teacher at the Niagara Catholic District School Board from May 2007 until November 2022 and served as a City Councillor for St. Patrick's Ward in the City of St. Catharines from December 2010 to January 2022, during which time Siscoe was Chair of the Budget Standing Committee and Chair of the Linking Niagara Transit Committee. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Ottawa.
