Derek D'Angelo serves as the Director of Curriculum Development at the Foundation for Economic Education, overseeing the Learning Center and providing professional development for teachers. In addition, Derek holds the position of President at the Michigan Council on Economic Education, guiding strategic operations. Derek's extensive experience includes roles on the Zoning Board of Appeals and as Chairman of the Ordinance Board of Appeals for the City of Sterling Heights. Previously, Derek was President of the National Association of Economic Educators, taught AP Economics at Utica Community Schools, and facilitated workshops for Common$ense Economics. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in History and Communication from the University of Michigan and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Wayne State University.
