Antonio Sajor Jr.

Antonio Sajor, Jr. has a strong background in law enforcement, with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the Stockton Police Department. Antonio began their career as a Police Officer in 1997 and worked their way up, serving as a Police Sergeant, Police Lieutenant, and currently as a Police Captain, overseeing the Administrative Services Division. In these positions, they have been responsible for managing personnel, training, and the Animal Shelter. Antonio has also demonstrated a commitment to community engagement, having led initiatives such as the Neighborhood Watch Program and the Crisis Negotiation Team. Additionally, they have held teaching positions as a Criminal Justice Lecturer at California State University-Sacramento and as an Adjunct Academy Instructor at San Joaquin Delta College. Prior to their law enforcement career, Antonio worked as a Phone Sales Supervisor at The Home Depot.

Antonio Sajor, Jr. has a diverse education history spanning from 1993 to 2020. In 1993, they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology from California State University, Fresno. In 2012, they completed the CA Peace Officers Standards and Training Management Course. The following year, in 2011, they attended the Sherman Block Supervisory Leadership Institute. Sajor went on to pursue further education in the field of law enforcement. From 2014 to 2015, they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Security Studies (Homeland Security) from the Naval Postgraduate School. In 2019, they completed the Law Enforcement Command Certificate program at the University of San Diego. Additionally, they participated in the Command College program offered by the CA Peace Officer Standards and Training from 2019 to 2020. Sajor's educational journey also includes acquiring an Academy Instructor Certification from the CA Peace Officer Standards and Training in 2020.
