Community Program Developer-community Centres at City of Thunder Bay

Jesse Dykxhoorn possesses extensive experience in community program development and engagement, currently serving as a Community Program Developer for the City of Thunder Bay since August 2017. Prior roles include Volunteer Program Coordinator in the Recreation and Culture Division and Community Engagement Assistant and Chaplain at The Salvation Army in Canada. Additionally, experience includes serving as an Assistant Coach for Men's Volleyball at Conestoga College and leading exercise classes for seniors focused on Falls Prevention at the Victorian Order of Nurses for Canada. Jesse also directed sports camps with Scripture Union Canada and completed a summer internship with CrossTrainers. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts from Redeemer University, a Graduate Certificate in Community and Social Services Management from Conestoga College, and a Discipleship Training School Certificate from Youth With A Mission Los Angeles.
