Imtiaz Ahmed

Imtiaz Ahmed, P.Eng., PMP, is a seasoned engineering and asset management professional with extensive experience in capital planning, project management, and stakeholder engagement. Currently serving as the Senior Asset Manager for the City of Toronto since 2021, Imtiaz oversees strategic asset management initiatives and procurement processes while leading teams and developing policies. Prior roles include Facilities Operations & Maintenance Leader at Toronto Hydro, where Imtiaz managed a large portfolio of facilities and capital projects, and Engineering and Maintenance Manager at Owens Corning, focusing on asset lifecycle management and sustainability strategies. Additional experience spans roles at WSP in Canada and Unilever, with a strong foundation in chemical engineering from the University of Toronto.
