Katie Wittmann

Katie Wittmann has extensive experience in urban planning and sustainable transportation. Currently serving as a Project Manager in Capital Projects and Programs at the City of Toronto since September 2016, Katie has held various roles including Project Lead and Planner focused on cycling infrastructure. Previous experience includes working with Green Communities Canada as a School Travel Planning Facilitator, where collaboration with multiple stakeholders facilitated active transportation initiatives. Katie was also a Research Fellow at Metrolinx and a researcher at the Toronto Cycling Think and Do Tank, contributing to studies on cycling and sustainable transportation patterns. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in Global Development from Queen's University.
