Nadia Flaim

Nadia Flaim is an accomplished communications professional with expertise in marketing and strategic communication across multiple sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Advisor for the City of Toronto since January 2024, Nadia previously held the position of National Director, Marketing & Communications at the Canadian Mental Health Association, where successful campaigns increased media coverage and fundraising. Nadia has extensive experience in sports marketing as the Head of Olympic, Paralympic and Sports Marketing & Communications at CBC Television, managing branding and promotional efforts for national athletes and high-profile events. Additional roles at CBC included Marketing Communications Manager and Communications & Marketing Manager, where strategic planning and multi-channel initiatives were key focuses. Nadia's career began at ABC Life Literacy Canada and the Toronto Blue Jays, emphasizing media relations and stakeholder engagement. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Sport Management from Florida State University and various certificates in Business French and Marketing from Toronto Metropolitan University.
